These symptoms will not show up for every disease, which is why it is vital to check with your healthcare provider before assuming you have a disease. Some of these symptoms apply to non respiratory illnesses as well, such as the flu or Covid.

Small Cell Lung Cancer

Tuberculosis
Some symptoms of Active Tuberculosis are
Feeling flu like symptoms (Chills, fever with sweating, appetite loss, weight loss, etc.)

Tachypnea, or rapid, shallow breathing.
Stabbing pain in the chest that worsens as one takes deep breaths or coughs.
Fatigue, appetite loss, and low energy levels.
Vomiting and Nausea, this is extremely common in small children.
Confusion, which is more common in elderly people.

Asthma
Some symptoms of asthma are
Wheezing. This is a whistling sound made by your lungs as you breath. It may only happen when you have a cold or are exercising.
A frequent cough. This may flare up at night, and you can cough up mucus.
Shortness of breath. This is when you feel like your lungs are not taking in enough air while you are breathing. In some cases it only occurs one in a while and in some cases it can occur more often.
Chest tightness. You may experience more tightness in your chest during cold weather or exercise. This can also be one of the first signs of a flare up.
COPD
Some symptoms of COPD, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, are
Having difficulty breathing.
Shortness of breath. This is when you feel as if you are not inhaling enough air.
Chest tightness.
